WELCOME TO THE BLOG.

SO HAPPY YOU ARE HERE!

First things first.

Let me tell you what you can expect from this blog!

This area of my website will be a combination of everything from Behind The Scenes footage, DIY's & how-to's, to poems, personal ramblings, and so much more! I am beyond excited to bring you along this journey with me as I show you how I capture engaging content and imagery plus the little tips, tricks, and life moments along the way.

A little bit about my business journey.

December will mark my second year of being my own boss and man, what a journey it has been already. I am constantly learning something new, always finding ways to improve my skills, my work, and my business. One of the main things I have learned so far, is how important it is to invest into myself and my little baby of a business. That doesn't mean just investing money; that means investing time, energy, passion, and creativity daily into almost everything that I do.

Personal life and professional life begin to blend together and then the new skill to learn is how to set boundaries. It's been an ongoing learning experience, but I believe that these situations not only improve my ability to handle my Photography business in a more efficient and balanced way, but these skills have carried themselves out to many other aspects of my life.

Why do I love being a photographer?

This is a question I get all of the time and it's still one that I really enjoy answering because the answer never stays the same. There are so many reasons why photography holds such a special place in my heart, but one of the biggest reasons is that I feel like I have a superpower. It feels like every day that I get to be a photographer is another day that I get to be a creator, a mentor, a friend, a problem solver, an entertainer, and an all around super woman. I love helping my clients see what I see. I feel so fulfilled when I send off Photo Packages and get overjoyed responses from Brand clients that can't wait to utilize their new engaging content for their products and businesses.

There truly are countless reasons why I love what I do, but I would say that the reactions and responses from my clients is what brings me the most happiness right now. Knowing that I am giving someone a confidence boost, amazing content, cherished memories to hold onto forever. The answer always changes, but for right now - that is what makes me happiest with photography!

What's next?

Photography will always be a large part of my life. There is more to come and new adventures are on the horizon, but until then I am going to keep capturing meaningful imagery for my amazing clients. I would like to take a moment to thank all of you that have supported me both financially and emotionally through this journey. From my Brand clients to my families, couples, and badass babes everywhere. The clients that have become best friends and as close as family and the clients that continue to help me provide for myself, my loved ones, and help me pursue my dreams.

Until Next Time,

Samantha
